A PASSION FOR LIFE
Studs Terkel, the prize winning author, radio broadcast personality and grand thinker was a man of humble origins who developed an incredible passion for life.  He savored the stories of everyday citizens. He found in the most mundane professions, routines and challenges fascinating tales, humor and touching humanity.

WISE ELDER
Born in 1912, Studs lived a full, engaged and active story telling life till he was 96.  He witnessed unprecendeted change in the world and chronicled those for all of us to explore.  He is a national treasure and a beacon of who aging can be a unique vantage point of wisdom.
