A WORD FROM THE FOUNDER
MAMA´S BOY
The Wisdom Flame Method™ was born out of a profound conversation between a Mother and her Son.
I had the fortune to work in major cities around the world, from New York, Washington DC to London, Madrid and Rio de Janeiro. I worked in some of the toughest, highest pressure investment houses in my early days.
Then I traded in the life of an investment banker for that of nurturing wellness endeavors as an entrepreneur. I was blessed to collaborate with the founders of Miraval, the nation´s leading destination spa. I collaborated with other incredible entrepreneurs in countries all over the world.
Yet, it was on a short return trip to my small lakeside town in Michigan, where my parents and grandfather reside that I had my life radically transformed. My family is hard working, loving and loyal.
I was shocked to see that any sign of laughter had vanished. It was replaced with frustration, sadness and anger. Everyone was in a perpetual storm of negative emotions. My parents and grandfather were living the Crushed Caregiver Lifestyle™.
MAKE THE CHANGE
Everything urged me to get right back on that plane and return to sunny Rio. Yet, a profound experience took root. I stayed. I learned. Our family committed to face all of the Caregiver Crisis that is sweeping silently through America with courage, conviction and commitment.
We realized that so many others were facing this, yet suffering in silence or breaking down in burn-out. We felt compelled to revolutionize care.
For years, I have dedicated myself to investing in and adopting social ventures. I lived my legacy in all seasons of life. The bigger the challenge, the more it fuels me to make change. This goes from tackling worldwide illiteracy to empowering women through micro-loans.
Yet, there is one call which burns more brightly in my heart than all others. I want to see the flourishing of caregivers, wise elders and happy families.
WISDOM SHINES LIGHT ON DARK DAYS
This takes us drawing on our greatest source of wisdom across the ages to produce a method which can help each and every caregiver create a meaningful, better balanced and powerful caregiving experience. We worked with passion and precision to craft the Wisdom Flame Method™.

I know how hard it is out there. I had the honor, priveledge and hard earned lessons gained from attending to my various grandparents, friends with serious illness and clients who shared with me incredible stories of struggle and triumph.
